Muthiah Pillai hails from Parakkai Village of Nagercoil, born on 30.03.1971. He is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s School, Palayamottai. He holds his degree in Computer Science and Engineering with Distinction from National Engineering College, Kovilpatti.

Muthiah Pillai is a Rotarian since 1998, in the Rotary Club of Tirunelveli West initiated by the guidance of PDG. Rmkv Viswanathan. He served as President during Rotary Centennial year 2004-05 in RID 3210 under the leadership of PDG. Raghunath. During this presidentship he executed a novel project of Audio Library for the Visually Challenged children at school for the Blind, Palayamkottai.

He is managing an IT Infra Structure and Solutions Company named “BITS Computer Systems” based at Tirunelveli since 1995. He is also the Chairman of RECT Polytechnic College located at South Vijayanarayanam opposite to INS Kattabomman.
